The vision for Sydney Local Health District Allied Health Research is to be a world leader in allied health research and research education, promoting the translation of research into clinical practice and driving excellence in health care and generating community, social and economic benefits.

This vision is underpinned by the Allied Health Research and Education Partnership with the Sydney School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney.

Through this partnership, Sydney Local Health District Allied Health have access to Professors of Allied Health and research associates who support Allied Health clinicians to build their research skills and capabilities through the provision of research education and mentoring.

The Allied Health Research and Education Partnership Strategic Plan links with the overall Sydney Local Health District Allied Health Strategic Plan and the Sydney Local Health District Research Strategic Plan.
