26 January	Yabun Festival The largest community led one-day festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
4 February	World Cancer Day Improving cancer awareness and recognising the work done to prevent, detect and treat cancer.
13 February	Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations On this day 17 years ago, a formal Apology was made to Stolen Generations Survivors and their families, acknowledging the trauma from past government policies of forced child removal and assimilation.
14 February	Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Each year we are proud to connect with members of the LGBTIQ+ community during Mardi Gras celebrations.
16 February	Fair Day Meet our team at the Sydney Local Health District stall to find out more about our inclusive health services. We have free giveaways, including fresh fruit and a pop-up mpox vaccination clinic, where you can get your free mpox vaccine (no appointment or Medicare card needed).

8 March	International Women’s Day A global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
17 March	World Social Work Day This year’s theme ‘Strengthening intergenerational solidarity for enduring wellbeing’ emphasises the importance of caring and respecting across generations to build strong societies, sustain the environment and share wisdom for a better future.
19 to 20 March	World Oral Health Day A happy mouth is a happy mind. 27 May to 3 June	National Reconciliation Week National Reconciliation Week is a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures, achievements, and explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
June (all month)	Step Up for Cancer Survivorship Take on a physical activity challenge throughout the month of June and raise funds for our free programs and courses at the Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre. Whether you walk, run, dance, swim, kayak, play tennis or enjoy any other activity, your participation helps support cancer survivors.

1 June	RPA Hospital Surgical Nursing Careers Open Day Learn about RPA’s surgical nursing programs and career opportunities, including presentations from perioperative and surgical nurses from a variety of specialties, information booths and interactive surgical activities.
11 June	Thank a First Responder Day A national day of appreciation for first responders and their families.

3 to 9 August	Dental Health Week This year’s theme ‘Help kids reach every S-milestone’ encourages people to think about how they can help kids reach every oral health milestone from birth and first teeth through to first teeth and beyond.
9 August	International Day of the World's Indigenous People Raising awareness and protecting the rights of the world's indigenous population.
September (all month)	STEPtember STEP up and challenge yourself to move 10,000 steps a day throughout September to support people with cerebral palsy.
6 to 12 September	NSW Stroke Awareness Week NSW Stoke Awareness week aims to increase awareness of recovery after Stroke and to celebrate the achievements of the many survivors of Stroke and their carers/families living in the community.
7 to 11 September	Women’s Health Week Highlighting women’s health issues and encouraging women of all ages to prioritise their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
8 September	World Physiotherapy Day Recognising the essential role of physiotherapy in healthcare.
11 September	R U OK? Day The national day of action, reminding Australians to ask ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation if they think somebody might be struggling with life.
