Week 1 (1–8 March)

Friday 1 March	WORKSHOP Staff Art Class 10–11am Staff Hub, Balmain Hospital — Staff are invited to join Diversional Therapist Ai Hwee Leow in an art making workshop.
Monday 4 March	ARTIST AND MUSICIAN IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM Fleeting Faces 10am–12pm Foyer, Canterbury Hospital — Sit for a fleeting ten minute miniature portrait with Artist in Residence Elizabeth Jane Austin, while enjoying a live musical performance by Musician in Residence Charlotte Greig.
	EXHIBITION What makes me happy? – Staff Art Gallery and Interactive Wellness Tree Launch On display throughout the month of March. Foyer, Balmain Hospital and Balmain General Practice Casualty — Stop in and see a collection of Balmain staff and local school student artworks reflecting on the theme 'What makes me happy?' or drop by our interactive wellness tree and leave your message. On display throughout the month of March.
	EXHIBITION Arterie Exhibition Launch On display throughout the month of March. Foyer, Sydney Dental Hospital — A mixed media exhibition showcasing the work of patients and staff – including Flew the Coop sculptures, Warp and Weft weavings, Conchology shell drawings, Parade clay echidnas and White on White textile embroidery hoops.
Tuesday 5 March	ARTIST AND MUSICIAN IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM Fleeting Faces 10am–12pm Foyer, Main Building, RPA Hospital — Sit for a fleeting ten minute miniature portrait with Artist in Residence Elizabeth Jane Austin, while enjoying a live musical performance by Musician in Residence Charlotte Greig.
	FEATURE EVENT Official Opening of March Arts 2024 with the Chief Executive 11am Foyer, Main Building, RPA Hospital — Featuring a series of live talks and interactive exhibitions including When Art Meets Science by the Centenary Institute; Manus photography display; patient artist Mary Lou Pavlovic; Inside Outside Vignettes by Artist in Residence Diane Mah; Let Your Light Shine by Artist in Residence Artist Libby Moore and Fleeting Faces miniature portraits with Artist in Residence Elizabeth Jane Austin accompanied by Musician in Residence Charlotte Greig.
	EXHIBITION When Art Meets Science Exhibition Launch On display throughout the month of March. Foyer, Main Building, RPA Hospital — Scientists at the Centenary Institute bring renewed health and hope by unlocking knowledge of complex diseases and developing life-saving treatments for patients and their families.  When Art Meets Science is a showcase of artistic images depicting life processes at a cellular level.
	WORKSHOP Art and Mindfulness – What makes me happy? 12–12.30pm Transition Care Unit, Balmain Hospital
	WORKSHOP Aboriginal Art Classes and Didgeridoo Sessions 2–3pm, Wakefield Ward, Balmain Hospital 3–4pm, Lever Ward, Balmain Hospital — Patients are invited to join Aboriginal artist Lee Hampton for an art class and Didgeridoo session.
Wednesday 6 March	ARTS IN HEALTH PROGRAM Arts & Health Hospital Practices – Design & Delivery Training Program 9.30am–3.30pm RPA Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse — In collaboration with Sydney Education, Arterie offers an Annual Training Program in the design and delivery of art in health and the three core Arterie Programs – Carterie, Workshop and Artist in Residence.
	ARTS IN HEALTH PROGRAM Carterie Program 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm RPA Hospital Wards — One on one mobile art studio for patients in our treatment and clinical spaces. We offer guidance and art packs for art making, art education, music and poetry writing – projects can be completed independently or with the support of the "Carterist".
	LIVE ART SHOWCASE Artist in Residence: Debra Huggins 10am–3pm Foyer, Main Building, RPA Hospital — Immerse yourself in a live art showcase as Sydney-based artist, Debra Huggins reflects on the seasons through a series of abstract mixed media works.
Thursday 7 March	WORKSHOP Arterie Open Workshop: Sunflowers 10am–3pm Foyer, Main Building, RPA Hospital — Drop-in to our open workshop and explore your creativity while enjoying live music and skill building demonstrations from our experienced Arterie team.

Wednesday 13 March	LIVE ART SHOWCASE Flora and Fauna Mural 9am-1pm Tudor Street Entrance, Canterbury Hospital — Watch along throughout the week as Artist Bobby McLachlan transforms the Tudor Street entrance into a vibrant and welcoming display of flora and fauna.

	TOUR Art Talk and Tour 11am Foyer, Canterbury Hospital — Join Sue Baker for a Canterbury campus walking tour showcasing the work of local and community artists. Tuesday 19 March	TOUR Art & Heritage Talk and Tour 10am–12.45pm RPA Hospital, RPA Museum and Susan Wakil Health Building — Hear the insights and inspirations behind our Artist in Residence collections, followed by an RPA campus art and heritage walking tour and immersive exhibition experience at the Susan Wakil Health Building.
