Equipment
Baking dish, knife, chopping board, liquid measuring cup, aluminium foil and oven mitts.
Steps
- Heat oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas mark 4)
- Use a casserole dish that can go in the oven. Place a layer of potato in the dish
- Sprinkle with a little cheese, onion and pepper
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used. Finish with a cheese layer. Pour the milk over the potato mixture
- Cover with foil and place in the oven for 25 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 15 minutes (depending on the amount)
