Salt-reduced vegetable or chicken stock | 2 cups or 2 stock cubes dissolved in 2 cups of water |
Salt-reduced soy sauce or kecap manis | 1-2 tsp |
Choy sum or bok choy, washed and chopped into thirds | 4 stems |
Shallot, finely sliced | 1 |
Corn kernels, frozen | ½ cup |
Silken tofu, drained and cut into 2 cm cubes (optional) | 1 pack |
Equipment
Saucepan or microwave dish, stirring spoon, chopping board, knife, measuring cup and teaspoon.
Steps
- Cook noodles in 2 cups chicken stock, add soy sauce/kecap manis and frozen corn. Add choy sum and simmer till wilted, then add tofu
- Serve soup with sliced shallots on top
