Instant noodles | 1 cake |
Tomato sauce | 1 tbsp |
Lean ham, shaved, sliced | 30-50g |
Button mushrooms, chopped | 5 |
Reduced fat grated cheese | 1-2 tbsp |
Equipment
Saucepan or microwave dish, stirring spoon, chopping board, knife and tablespoon.
Steps
- Cook noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain
- Keep on low heat and add tomato sauce, mushrooms and ham. Stir until combined
- Add grated tasty or parmesan cheese over top. Serve
Tips
- Throw away the flavour sachet! A cheaper and healthier way is to buy the plain instant noodles in packs of 8-10 cakes. Seal pack with a clothes peg or snap lock bag to keep air out and fresh
- Try a variation: use spaghetti, great crepe filling (without the tomato sauce). Allow an extra 5 to 10 minutes to cook pasta
