Ingredients

Ingredient list for 2 people
Instant noodles 1 cake
Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
Lean ham, shaved, sliced 30-50g
Button mushrooms, chopped 5
Reduced fat grated cheese 1-2 tbsp

Equipment

Saucepan or microwave dish, stirring spoon, chopping board, knife and tablespoon.

Steps

  1. Cook noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain
  2. Keep on low heat and add tomato sauce, mushrooms and ham. Stir until combined
  3. Add grated tasty or parmesan cheese over top. Serve

Tips

  • Throw away the flavour sachet! A cheaper and healthier way is to buy the plain instant noodles in packs of 8-10 cakes. Seal pack with a clothes peg or snap lock bag to keep air out and fresh
  • Try a variation: use spaghetti, great crepe filling (without the tomato sauce). Allow an extra 5 to 10 minutes to cook pasta
