Orthopaedic Surgery Research

The Orthopaedic Surgery Department provides a comprehensive range of services on an inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient basis. The department provides services for both trauma and elective procedures. 

The Department aims to foster multidisciplinary research and education across surgical, nursing and allied health disciplines. Cross-specialty collaborations include the Geriatric Medicine, Emergency, Anaesthetics and Radiology Departments. We are researching patient and family experience of upper and lower limb trauma, arthroplasty, reconstructive and sports medicine disciplines.
