Community Transport

Inner West, Leichhardt-Marrickville and South-Eastern Sydney municipalities offer a low-cost community bus and/or individual transport services to Balmain Hospital.

TigeRider Shuttle Bus
  • Operated by Connect Inner West. 
  • The shuttle is on the road from 9.30am-1.30pm on Fridays, excluding public holidays. Your pick up time depends on where you live and how the driver’s schedule is arranged.

Travel Information for People with a Disability

  • If you travel to Balmain Hospital using public transport, full transport information can be accessed via the Transport for NSW website. The 'plan your trip' function allows you to specify if wheelchair-accessible services are required.
  • Transport for NSW has further information regarding accessible travel available on their website, including accessible train stations, travel on accessible buses, accessible ferries and wharves, available concessions and community transport.
  • If you travel to Balmain Hospital using private transport, there are a number of accessible parking spaces available at the front of the hospital.
