Squash Court
Category: Yaralla Botanical Walking Tour |
Stop: 12 |
Location: East side of estate |

Built in 1920 in preparation for the arrival of Prince Edward (later the Duke of Windsor) who, at age 26, stayed at Yaralla Estate for a week as the guest of Miss Eadith Walker.
This squash court is one of NSW’s first squash courts and is the oldest purpose-built squash court (public or private) to be built in Australia.
The building is of an Edwardian style with a viewing gallery accessed via an external timber staircase.
