SydneyConnect Exhibition Centre
Exhibition Centre offers place to connect during Symposium.
The Sydney Connect Exhibition Centre will be at the heart of the Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium - a place to connect, relax and learn about the District and health, technology, education and research partners.
On Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June, the Sydney Connect Exhibition Centre will host merchandise stalls, food and refreshments and educational displays.
The interactive Tree of Hope will be at the centre, representing our collective hopes for a bright future.
At the District Capital Infrastructure and Engineering display, people can take a walk through the District’s past and see the vision for the future of the District’s healthcare facilities.
Staff interested in health research can stop by stalls representing partners such the University of Sydney, Centenary Institute, Sydney Research, and Sydney Institute for Women, Children and their Families.
Dedicated care for veteran patients will be represented at the National Centre for Veteran Health stall.
At the Aboriginal Health stall, staff can learn about the District’s local communities and how the District can provide culturally-sensitive healthcare.
The Digital Health space will feature demonstrations from Microsoft and tech partners Alcidion, Perx Health and Vocera. Staff curious about the future of digital health in the District can get hands-on with RPA Virtual, Florence, and the District’s brand-new digital education support offering — Digital Health Systems Education Service.
Refreshments such as fresh juice and coffee will be provided by Hesta, Capital Insight and COS Group, with generous giveaways from 13 Cabs. Smart Salary will be on site to explain the benefits of salary packaging.
Most importantly, amidst all the activity, the Sydney Connect Exhibition Centre will have lots of refreshments and breakout spaces for everyone to network and exchange ideas (in COVID-safe ways).
