District's nine COVID-19 clinics offer free testing.

Sydney Local Health District is urging anyone with the mildest COVID-19 symptoms to get tested, with the District currently running nine free clinics in the community.

“If you have any symptoms at all, please get tested straight away and then self-isolate at home until you know your result,” Dr Leena Gupta, the Clinical Director of the District’s Public Health Unit, said.

“Testing is free – and you don’t need a referral from a GP or a Medicare Card. It is a simple and quick test.

“So, if you, your children or a loved one have even the slightest of symptoms, like a sore throat, cough, fever, runny nose, difficulty breathing or flu like symptoms please get tested as soon as possible,” she said.

Dr Gupta encouraged people to regularly check the latest case locations and alerts on the NSW Health website

People planning to have a COVID-19 test at one of the District’s drive-through or walk-in clinics can complete online check-in before coming to one of the clinics.

Online check-in is available at all of the District’s COVID-19 clinics, including drive-through clinics at Sydney Olympic Park, Rozelle, Roselands and Summer Hill.
