We offer qualifications ranging from Certificate II to Graduate Diploma level. All qualifications that we offer are contextualised for our workforce. We can also write qualifications when we identify an education need that is not met through another Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector product.

Sydney Education, in partnership with the University of Tasmania (UTAS), will offer Graduate Diploma qualifications to support staff in developing the skills they need for their career development in Sydney Local Health District.
The qualifications will be offered as part of the Sydney Scholarships Program in 2024.
Studies for this round of scholarships will commence in February 2024 at the start of Semester 1.

Graduate Diploma of Advanced PracticeThe Graduate Diploma of Advanced Practice is an exciting new initiative developed as a partnership between Sydney Education and the University of Tasmania with specialisations that are aligned to career pathways in health. You will build a strong foundation in leadership skills and critical thinking, helping you to analyse and resolve the complex problems that you face in the health system. Building on this knowledge you can choose from a selection of specialisations developed to align to career pathways in health. As an emerging or established health leader you might choose to specialise in Governance, Strategic Communication or Organisational Performance to enhance your capacity within your current role, you could develop your skills in Workplace Psychology to better understand and lead your people, or take the Health Service Improvement specialisation to learn to transform health delivery within your team. Other specialisations focus on Healthcare Education, Supply Chain and Logistics and areas of national health priority, such as Dementia. The following qualifications are available for 2024:

Graduate Diploma of Leadership (Health and Human Services) The Graduate Diploma in Leadership (Health and Human Services) will give you the skills to accentuate your natural leadership qualities, or help you find skills you did not know you had. The course focusses on providing skills to emerging middle and senior managers, clinicians and health professionals working within health and human services. While studying you’ll develop in-depth contemporary knowledge of health and human service systems across a range of leadership and management dimensions. Graduate Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy This online course offers formal training for pharmacists in Sydney who want to enhance their clinical skills and become accredited to conduct medication reviews. The course covers contemporary evidence-based practice for hospital and community pharmacy settings. Coursework includes quality use of medicines, medicine safety, and advanced pharmacotherapeutics in various areas such as cardiology, respiratory medicine, infectious diseases, oncology medicine, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatric disorders, gastroenterology, and public health.
