This course outlines the neurobiological, psychological, and behavioural aspects of stress and the dangers of chronic stress. You will explore the evolutionary origins and functions of the stress response to understand how we have evolved to be who we are, and why. You will also gain practical strategies to settle your mind and body to help downregulate the stress response.
