About this course
The aim of this course is to provide you an opportunity to develop advanced wound management skills focusing on wound cleansing and debridement.

This course is appropriate for Registered Nurses, CNSs/CNCs/CNEs, Enrolled Nurses, Community Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals.

- Discuss the importance of wound cleansing in chronic wound management.
- Identify the indications and contraindications for different cleansing methods.
- Discuss common cleansing solutions/products, pressure and techniques in wound cleansing.
- Distinguish different types of wound debridement and identify indications and contraindications for each type.
- Practice Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement (CSWD).
