March Arts is a month-long celebration of The Arts across the health campuses of Sydney Local Health District.

 

The festival is designed to highlight and showcase the benefits of integrating The Arts into the design and delivery of health services, and health messaging.

The Arts play a significant role in healthcare – motivating, inspiring and connecting staff, patients, their families and the community.

March Arts showcases the wonderful range of art programs underway across the District, including exhibitions of patient and staff artwork, live music, poetry readings, performances, classes, workshops,  guided tours and more.

It is vital that we acknowledge the benefits that the arts can have on our health and wellbeing and continue our work to further incorporate the arts in our hospitals, facilities and services.

March Arts is an opportunity for the community, including our patients and their families and carers, visitors and staff to appreciate, contribute to and experience the myriad of benefits that integrating The Arts into healthcare services can bring.
