Sydney Biomedical Accelerator construction begins

Construction is now under way on the Sydney Biomedical Accelerator (SBA), a partnership between Sydney Local Health District, the University of Sydney and the NSW Government. Due to open in 2028, the SBA will fast-track scientific discoveries into real life health outcomes.

In Sydney Local Health District, we acknowledge that we are living and working on Gadigal, Wangal and Bediagal land, part of the EORA Nation. We pay our respect to all elders past, present and emerging. Our vision is to have the healthiest Aboriginal community in Australia.
