About this course
The aim of this workshop is to provide foundation principles of clinical education. This is specific to nursing clinical education but there are elements that will be relevant to all clinical areas (eg. Midwifery).
The workshop is aimed at staff newly appointed to the role of clinical educator, staff working towards a role in clinical education, or anyone who has an interest in the clinical education pathway.
It will provide you with foundational knowledge in a variety of education topics including but not limited to an introduction to adult learning principles, introduction to My Health Learning, basics of clinical performance - assessment - feedback, networking and an introduction to clinical supervision.
