Designing learning
About this course
This short program provides the essential theory and practical skills, required to design Professional Development (PD) for various audiences in Sydney Local Health District. The course includes all elements of course design including current adult learning theory, engagement activities and design of a learning plan.
At the completion of the program, participants will be able to create Professional Development necessary for the District workforce.
Prerequisites
Participants must complete the pre-course activities prior to attending the designing learning course. Pre-course activities are detailed in the Learner Workbook and are:
- Attend 1 hour virtual 'Defining the professional development requirements'
- Draft a ‘Request for professional development creation’
- Complete an online VARK learning style questionnaire
