About this course

Dealing with conflict has always been an essential, but perhaps challenging, skill for effective managers to master. This course will explore the different types and possible dynamics of conflict, so you can gain a strong insight into why people act the way they do. You will learn how to conduct positive and constructive interactions in order to de-escalate a conflict situation.

Topics covered in this course include respecting different personality styles, importance of self-reflection, and the use of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) and other models to conduct productive discussions about conflict. You will also have opportunity to safely practise conflict resolution skills and strategies in this one-day workshop.
