Low Back Pain Care (Back@Home)

The RPA Virtual Hospital Low Back Pain Program (Back@Home) provides you with care and support to help manage your back pain.

Care is provided by a physiotherapist, who will work closely with you, your carers, your General Practitioner (GP) and your hospital team.

What to expect

You will have regular appointments with a physiotherapist via video call. Home appointments are also available if required.

Your physiotherapist will ask you to complete surveys about your health. Your answers will help your physiotherapist care for you.

24/7 support

Our physiotherapists are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. You can contact them by phoning 0439 402 651 or by email at SLHD-rpavirtualMSK@health.nsw.gov.au

You will also have access to a nurse in our Virtual Care Centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1800 325 065. Please let us know if you need an interpreter or have special needs such as hearing problems. Psychology and social work services are also available.

All Aboriginal patients are offered cultural support from Aboriginal Health Workers.

How to access

Referrals are accepted from Sydney Local Health District clinicians. See the Information for Professionals page.
