Parent education
RPA offers a comprehensive Parent Education Service, run by experienced midwife facilitators, to help you prepare for childbirth and parenting.
Our education sessions are inclusive of the diverse experiences of expectant mothers, fathers, parents, partners and support people.
Childbirth sessions are designed to help you make informed decisions during pregnancy, labour and birth.
Parenting sessions are designed to build confidence by helping you understand what to expect in the first six weeks after your baby is born, postnatal recovery for new mums, newborn care and general parenting information.
Expectant parents are encouraged to book early (from 12 weeks pregnant).
