What do you do?

I am responsible for managing and leading a team to achieve organisational goals and objectives. I oversee various aspects of team performance, including setting clear expectations, providing guidance and support, and facilitating effective communication. I actively work to identify and develop talent within Sydney Local Health District, while also promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.

Why do you do what you do?

I am passionate about leadership and helping others reach their full potential. Being in a managerial role allows me to make a meaningful impact by guiding and inspiring individuals to achieve their professional and personal goals. 

What’s the best thing about your workplace?

My co-workers, who have become like a family, always strive to support the team in achieving our common goal. Their efforts created a positive and cohesive team culture that significantly impacts our overall performance. I am grateful for their dedication and the positive impact they made as colleagues.

What’s the nicest thing a colleague has ever done for you?

One of the nicest things a colleague has ever done for me was when they took the time to mentor and guide me through a challenging project. Their expertise and willingness to share their knowledge not only helped me succeed in completing the task, but it also boosted my confidence and professional growth.
