An innovation and commercialisation challenge. 
 

Clinicians and researchers are invited to present very early stage ideas, including development of theories, methods, treatments, devices, technology or systems. Successful ideas focus on optimising healthcare design, delivery and outcomes. 

The five selected finalists will have the opportunity to work with Cicada Innovations to develop their innovative ideas and prepare a pitch that will be presented during the 2024 Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium.

The Big Idea challenge winner will receive $65,000 pre-seed funding plus $25,000 in professional support services from IDE Group to support further development of their big idea. 

The People's Choice Award winner will receive $10,000 pre-seed funding plus $5,000 in professional support services from IDE Group.
