Frequently asked questions
The pharmacy supplies a range of medicines for chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments including oral and injectable medications. In general, the pharmacy only supplies medications that are directly related to your treatment, for example, anti nausea medications or medications that reduce your risk of infections.
We do not supply medicines that are not related to your condition being treated at the Concord Cancer Centre, such as those for diabetes or high cholesterol.
Some medications may incur a co-payment whilst others are subsidised by the NSW Government. The pharmacist will explain which medicines will require a co-payment, it is usually the same as the standard PBS co-payment that you may be charged by your local community pharmacy.
