Working in partnership with your treatment team, our Cancer Council Liaison is here to support you and your family.
Our Cancer Council Liaison can provide you with reliable, evidence-based information, and connect you with relevant practical and emotional support services throughout your cancer journey.
Speak to our Cancer Council Liaison to:
- find trustworthy information
- get help with financial, work or legal concerns
- receive assistance with practical issues
- connect with a counsellor or with others affected by cancer
- discuss wellbeing during and after a cancer diagnosis
Contact and referrals
Patients, families and carers can self-refer to this service or ask your treating team to make a referral.
Ask for our Cancer Council Liaison (Anna Piper) at the Concord Cancer Centre, Rusty Priest Building (Building 60), Concord Hospital or call 0447 637 843 or 02 9767 3840.
Support is also available from the Cancer Council by calling their confidential phone service on 13 11 20 (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday).
Cancer Council NSW Support Services
- 13 11 20 Information and Support Line: If you have a cancer question or concern a healthcare professional will be available between 12 midday to 4pm on 29, 30 and 31 December 2025 and will return to normal operating hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) on 2 January 2025.
