Cancer Council Liaison

A cancer diagnosis can present new challenges, but you don’t need to face them alone.

Cancer Council Liaison's work in partnership with your treating team to support you and your family. They provide reliable, evidence-based information and connect you with relevant practical and emotional support services throughout your cancer journey.

Talk to a liaison about:

  • Available support services (for example financial support, making a will/other legal concerns, cleaning or gardening at home, counselling or peer support)
  • Social and emotional impact of cancer for patients, carers and families
  • Wellbeing during and after cancer
  • Evidence-based literature and podcasts
