Clinical Director, Cancer Services and Palliative Care
 

My role, along with the Deputy Director, is to ensure our patients have access to the best cancer and palliative care services available, by overseeing Cancer Services and Palliative Care across Sydney Local Health District. 

Concord Cancer Centre is committed to excellence in cancer care, provides first class cancer treatment and is a research leader in a number of cancer-related areas. 

With the move into our new facilities in 2022, Concord Cancer Centre is now Concord Hospital’s first truly comprehensive multidisciplinary service which includes radiation oncology, PET scanning and a clinical research facility. As a result, our patients have access to one of the largest concentrations of cancer expertise in the state.

Clinical Deputy Director, Cancer Services and Palliative Care

As Deputy Clinical Director of Cancer Services and Palliative Care, I work closely with the Clinical Director and the Cancer Executive team to ensure there is effective collaboration of our services to deliver the best care possible for our patients throughout their cancer journey. My role is to ensure that the Palliative and End of Life Care needs of our patients, families/carers are met and supported by staff, resources, education, training and research opportunities, which enhance optimum care. The Concord Centre for Palliative Care is linked closely with the Concord Cancer Centre and is recognised as a world class facility for inpatient Palliative Care.
