Podiatry
Podiatrists are engaged in the assessment, diagnosis and management of foot pathology and have a key role in managing and reducing the risk of ulceration and amputation in people with diabetes and other conditions.
Podiatrists work with patients and families to reduce pain and optimise mobility in older people and those with painful arthritic conditions.
They provide education, treatment and secondary prevention for patients with diabetes-related foot complications to optimise healing and independence. Our Podiatrists also lead and implement research and policies relating to their area of expertise.
