Nutrition and Dietetics
Dietitians promote, restore and maintain optimal nutrition for their patients across a range of clinical areas. They assess and plan nutrition interventions and provide education and counselling for patients, families and carers.
Dietitians are also involved in nutrition and health education programs, establish evidence-based nutritional standards and develop and implement nutrition care policies at a local, state and national level. They are involved in research in key clinical areas.
