Long COVID Program
The Sydney Virtual Long COVID Program provides virtual care, education and support to help you manage your Long COVID symptoms.
What to expect
- A comprehensive nursing assessment to better understand your symptoms and treatment goals
- A team of health professionals will review the results of this assessment and talk with your GP about your ongoing care
- Access to the Long COVID Management Group Program
Long COVID Management Group
This program is available online for 1.5 hours each week for 8 weeks.
It is led by a team of allied health professionals including clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists and a person with lived experience of Long COVID.
The group aims to help you:
- Build skills to manage your symptoms and energy levels
- Improve your quality of life
- Feel more confident and in control of your recovery
- Connect with others with similar experiences
24/7 support
You will have access to a nurse in our Virtual Care Centre 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1800 325 065.
Please let us know if you need an interpreter or have special needs such as hearing problems.
All Aboriginal patients are offered cultural support from Aboriginal Health Workers.
How to access
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Live in Sydney Local Health District
- Be aged 16 years and older
- Have a confirmed history of COVID-19
Referrals are accepted from General Practitioners or other medical specialists via Health Link or by completing our online referral form. See the Information for Professionals page.
