About this course

Are you using Microsoft Outlook in your role?

Perhaps you are checking email but unsure about the other features in Microsoft Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook is a well-established communication and workload management application that is much more than emails and calendars. This powerful application now links in with other Microsoft Office applications and can help you manage your work using calendars, email, and tasks.

This brief lunch hour workshop is delivered via Microsoft Teams videoconferencing and content will be tailored to the needs of the participants using Microsoft Outlook for Sydney Local Health District.

Who should attend?

This course is appropriate for any staff member with access to Microsoft Outlook.

What will you learn?

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Identify key functions and features of Microsoft Outlook: mail, calendar, and tasks.
  2. Discuss how to manage email clutter and communicate effectively.
  3. Demonstrate using a range of workload management tools (for example tasks, out of office, categories, rules, quick steps and more).
