As a patient, it is important that you be an active partner in the treatment and management of your interstitial lung disease.
Our clinic doctors and nurses will encourage you to:
- Stay up to date with all vaccinations including seasonal influenza vaccination, pneumonia vaccination (every 5 years) and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Stop smoking and vaping
- Stay active and participate in physical activity appropriate for your disease
- Attend all of your clinic appointments as recommended by your specialist
- Undertake all of the investigations suggested by your specialist
