Our referral centres offer specialised care for patients across NSW and Australia, many of whom have advanced or complex cases.
We also operate specialist outpatient clinics for patients with specific cardiac conditions.
Our cardiac imaging and testing suites and our diagnostic and interventional laboratories are equipped with cutting-edge technology.
History
RPA Cardiology is home to pioneers in patient care.
RPA first began providing cardiology care for patients in 1932 when the hospital’s first string galvanometer ECG machine was purchased.
The Hallstrom Institute of Cardiology, as the department was then known, was officially opened in 1949.
Since that time, our staff have spearheaded the development of innovative techniques, treatments and complex interventions.
