Cancer Screening Community Education (in language)

Cancer affects many Australians and has a major impact on individuals, families and community.

National Cancer Screening programs are widely promoted to improve prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer in Australia.

Our Diversity Programs and Strategy Hub (Diversity Hub) delivers breast screening, cervical screening and bowel screening education sessions in nine languages including Arabic, Bangla, Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, Korean, Nepali, Mongolian and Vietnamese.

These health education sessions raise awareness in culturally and linguistically diverse communities about the importance of screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer and bowel cancer.

To find out more or organise an education session for your community contact our team at SLHD-DiversityHub@health.nsw.gov.au
