What is Florence?
Florence is an online tool to connect patients with clinics to help them manage their health appointments.
It is important that patients can choose the ways they prefer to communicate with our healthcare services. We developed Florence as an option for patients who prefer (or want to add) digital communications to their existing communication with clinics.
Florence enhances communication between patients and clinics and offers patients the flexibility to receive health information and important updates about their appointments at their convenience.
Benefits
Patients who register and access Florence on their mobile device or computer can:
- receive appointment notifications via SMS or email
- receive appointment notifications in languages other than English
- view upcoming appointments
- confirm and request appointment reschedules at a time convenient for them
- communicate with clinics regarding their appointments
- complete forms online prior to the appointment
- receive health information digitally
- receive digital maps for directions to the clinic
- view and update their personal details and profile preferences
- access important documents such as Florence terms and conditions, privacy policy and FAQs

How to access Florence
To access Florence, you must have an appointment booked at a participating clinic.
For appointments within Sydney Local Health District, go to florence.slhd.nsw.gov.au
