Serving one of the most diverse communities in Sydney, we are based out of the old courthouse in the bustling heart of Redfern at 103-105 Redfern Street, Redfern. We are open 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Community HIV Allied Health Services

Intake, assessment and care to support the physical, social and emotional needs of people living with HIV.

Drug Health Harm Reduction

A primary healthcare clinic, available for people experiencing drug and alcohol dependency.

Drug Health Harm Reduction Needle and Syringe Program

To reduce and minimise the spread of blood-borne viruses in the community, we provide free needles and syringes to injecting drug users. 
 

We have an automatic dispensing machine onsite, accessible 24 hours.

Service How to access
Aboriginal Chronic Care Team

Provides culturally safe healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a chronic disease, in partnership with their GP. The team helps people access clinical and community services including care coordination, cultural support and supplementary services.
 

You will need a GP referral to attend this service.

Community HIV Allied Health Services

Assessment and care to support the physical, social and emotional needs of people living with HIV. Support is available at home, in the community or at the Redfern Health Centre.

Mental Health

Our Community Mental Health team provides a range of services to support your recovery and  help you stay well in the community. We can provide specialist services for young people, children and families, adults and older people.
 

Our services include acute care support, care coordination or assertive outreach support. Our community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal mental health team, bilingual mental health workers and peer support workers.

Priority Populations

The Healthy Living Program provides a point of connection, liaison and navigation between Waterloo residents and Sydney Local Health District, to address health and wellbeing issues in the community.

Sydney District Nursing (rpavirtual)

Hospital level nursing care offered to people in their homes or the community health clinic by community nurses who are experts in a range of services including wound care, intravenous and subcutaneous medication management, drain care, palliative care, catheter care and care of chronic medical conditions.
