Sydney Local Health District staff and General Practitioners can make referrals to Drug Health Services.
Sydney Local Health District Staff can:
- Order a Hospital Consultation Liaison via eMR or pager
- Refer patients directly to the appropriate Drug Health Service
- Call the Drug Health Services Centralised Intake Line on 1800 793 466 for general referrals or new patients
General Practitioners can make a referral to:

Information exchange for safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people
Information exchange provisions under Chapter 16A of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 allows for the flow of information between government agencies and non-government organisations to facilitate collaboration in the provision of services to vulnerable children and their families.
All requests under Chapter 16A need to be forwarded to our Sydney Local Health District Child Protection team via email on SLHD-ChildProtect@health.nsw.gov.au
