Lions NSW Eye Bank
Concord Hospital supports and participates in the Lions NSW Eye Bank Corneal Transplant Program.
A cornea, successfully transplanted, is a gift of an improved life for someone else. Anyone can become a donor after their death by endorsing their driver's licences, signing a uniform donor card or by signing a simple statement indicating your wish and having this statement witnessed. You should discuss with your family your desire for your eye and/or other organs to be used for transplantation to ensure their co-operation in carrying out your wish.
