Have your say

We engage with our community and invite regular feedback to improve services through our Cemplicity survey where we capture feedback from patients about the care they received.  The survey is available in four other languages. Patients can also contact our Patient and Family Experience Officer to discuss their care.

Consumer Participation

Canterbury Hospital has an active Consumer and Community Participation Advisory Network who meet on the first Thursday of every month between 1pm- 3pm. Members are invited to attend the meetings online or in person at Canterbury Hospital.

Be a Volunteer

Our volunteers make a difference. Our volunteers donate their time and energy helping to improve the wellbeing of patients, their families and visitors. They also support our staff.

Our volunteers are a diverse group of women and men of all ages from working professionals and students through to retirees and other community members.

The volunteer roles we are recruiting to include: wayfinding, meal assist, administration, fundraising stall, discharge lounge support, music and memory program, supporting our communication boards.

We are always looking for new volunteers and would like to talk to you about how you would like to help us at Canterbury Hospital.

If you would like more information about becoming a volunteer or part of our Consumer Advisory Network at Canterbury Hospital contact our Community Participation and Volunteer Manager on 02 9153 2052.

It's official, art is good for your health! Canterbury Hospital has been integrating arts into the design and delivery of health services. Each year we celebrate March Arts - with Local artists getting involved by showcasing what being healthy means to them and their community.

We have 22 artworks that have been donated by local artists who have volunteered their time to produce a piece of art for March Arts.

We are currently seeking expression of interest from local artist who would like to be involved in March Arts 2023. For more information contact our Community Participation and Volunteer Manager on 02 9153 2052.
