Counselling allows a private, safe space to talk about grief and receive assistance, emotional support and find ways of coping.

Counselling is provided at Concord and RPA Hospitals, Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm.

How to access our service

Clients can self-refer by calling 02 9767 5656 and leaving a brief voicemail with your name and contact number.

Do I need a referral?

No, the Bereavement Counselling Service is a self-referral service – call us to book a time.

Some people, may not feel ready to start bereavement counselling until a few months (or even a few years) after the death. Self-referral allows the client to choose when and how they begin counselling.
