Bereavement Counselling Service
The Bereavement Counselling Service offers confidential counselling support to adults who live in, or who are bereaved of someone who has died in, Sydney Local Health District, as well as to our staff.
Counselling is provided at Concord Hospital and RPA Green Square (Health One), Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
You can self-refer by calling 02 9767 5656 and leaving a brief voicemail with your name and contact number.
There's no need for a referral, the Bereavement Counselling Service is a self-referral service – call us to book a time. Some people may not feel ready to start bereavement counselling until a few months (or even some years) after the death. Self-referral allows you to choose if, when and how you might begin counselling.
