Wound Care Command Centre

The RPA Virtual Hospital Wound Care Command Centre is a team of specialised nurses that provide wound care and advice.

We work with you, your family or carer, your general practitioner and other health professionals involved in your care. Our goal is to make sure that you have the best possible treatment and support for your wounds.

What to expect

As a patient, you will receive:

  • Specialist nursing support for the management of your wounds
  • Regular virtual assessment and monitoring of your wounds using a specialised wound management application on your phone known as ‘Tissue Analytics’
  • Face to face appointments as needed
  • A wound management plan

24/7 support

As a patient, you have access to a nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via 1800 252 100. You can call the Wound Care Command Centre if you have any questions or concerns about your wound. 

Please let us know if you need an interpreter or have special needs such as hearing problems. Psychology and Social Work Services are also available. 

All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients are offered cultural support from Aboriginal Health Workers. 

How to access

Referrals are accepted from Sydney Local Health District, General Practice, Residential Aged Care Facilities, rural and regional partners and Aboriginal Medical Services. See the Information for Professionals page.
