The Emergency Department is located at the front of Canterbury Hospital, 575 Canterbury Road, Campsie.
Staff in our Emergency Department care for around 45,000 people each year.
Highly trained doctors and other health professionals are on site 24 hours a day to care for patients needing emergency treatment.
Triage
When you arrive you will be met by one of our staff who will talk to you about your admission and explain to you what will happen next.
What do I bring?
Please bring your:
- Medicare card
- Private health insurance details
- List of all your medications
- Any relevant scans or test results
When you are discharged from emergency you will be given information about what to do when you go home. If you are not sure please ask our staff.
Where can I park?
There is an area for short term parking and to drop off people accessing emergency care.
