
Wellness: Breathing and yoga techniques
We’re focused on the wellbeing of our staff, our patients and our community.
We asked Jennifer Taylor, from the District’s Institute of Musculoskeletal Health, to share simple breathing exercises and yoga postures that may help with stress relief and emotional regulation during these challenging times.
Jennifer is a neuroscientist and a yoga teacher from the Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney who also works with our doctor wellness program, MDOK.
In these videos, Jennifer demonstrates basic breathing techniques, a “box” breathing exercise and sequences of sitting and standing yoga poses.
