Sydney Local Health District nurses came together across hospitals and facilities to celebrate International Nursing Day. 

From formal awards and recognition of service to ice cream parties and bed making competitions, nurses, student nurses and colleagues all took part in making the day fun and memorable. 

“In our District, each of you represents the very best attributes of the nursing profession. Each of you makes an extraordinary difference to the experiences of our patients and it’s often the small things that make the biggest difference,” said Deb Willcox AM, District Chief Executive.
